For years BAT Construction has maintained an exceptional working relationship with Teck’s mining team. Our scope of work at Highland Valley Copper includes:
-Horizontal Drain Hole Drilling
-Pit Water Management
-Geo-technical Service Work
-prism installations to monitor pit wall movement
-rock scaling
-pressure grouting
-dam repairs
-slab jacking
-retaining walls
-piezo hole drilling and installation
-trim drilling and blasting
-high angle excavation work
-mesh and anchor installation
-specialized grout and epoxy installations
-shotcrete services
-sump and pond lining installations
-mine site water deliveries
-various high angle rope access jobs as required.
BAT Construction successfully installs over 40,000L/M of Horizontal Pit drains (HDH’s) at HVC annually. Our crews work closely with mine operations and planners to ensure production targets are met, and our operation is well aligned with HVC’s mining schedule, HSE standards, and budget.
