BAT Construction is proud to be part of this amazing and ambitious construction project. Part of an ambitious project to showcase the Rocky Mountains and the Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park, in the beautiful Province of Alberta, Canada.
BAT Construction was specifically responsible for the installation of the anchors, which are drilled deep into the mountain and are a required construction process that keeps this amazing interpretive experience facility, horizotnal on the rock faced walls of the Rocky Mountain Range.
BAT Construction was uniquely qualified for this project because of their vast field experience with high angle scaling...this project was suspended 918 feet above the Sunwapta Valley. BAT Construction also has a collection of powerful and maneuverable drills, which was valuable at times our teams had to go "over the edge". Also, this site was only a few hours from their home office (Kamloops, BC), where they had quick and efficient access to more manpower, back end support and administrative support.
The Jasper National Park Glacier Skywalk is an amazing project - a definite 'must see' if you're travelling through Jasper National Park!
SPECIAL NOTE: BAT was only responsible for the anchors, however, we include construction photos as a representation of the scale of the project as a whole.
